The Florida Division of Alcoholic Beverages and Tobacco requires a completed application for all businesses that intend to sell alcoholic beverages. We have successfully processed these completed applications for Florida liquor licenses throughout the state. We will prepare and file all the beverage-related applications, and assist you in obtaining license information and the necessary license or permit for the operation of your business.

The application for a license is often time consuming and costly. This service identifies the areas of your application that may cause time delays or even a denial of your license application. Applicant reviews are customized for each client but may include the following: review of all consideration points (i.e. churches, schools, etc.) within regulated areas, zoning review including an overview of the conditional use permit procedure if applicable, and review of the local governing bodies procedure for obtaining a finding of public convenience or necessity.
Brokering Florida Liquor Licenses and Database Research

Beverage Law Institute maintains a database of all alcoholic beverage licensees in the State. We can identify each license in a particular county, city, zip code, census tract, or street by type of license, status of license, etc. We find buyers and/or sellers of alcoholic beverage licenses.

Responsible Vendor Training Programs

Beverage Law Institute offers customized employee training at the licensee's premises. The responsible vendor training is based on state Beverage Laws, Rules and Procedures.
books Topics covered include proper ID checking methods, and techniques to avoid violation and liability. This training can reduce liability exposure and liability insurance premiums.

Fee Schedule for Expert Witness Testimony
HORACE ALEXANDER MOODY
I. Preliminary Discussions of Cases: Telephone discussions of potential cases are welcome. There is no charge for this initial service.

II. Cases Accepted for Expert Witness Testimony:
My fee will be $250 per hour plus any and all expenses incurred on behalf of my service to you. A retainer fee of $1,000 is due upon my retention as an expert witness.

III. Depositions, Testimony, On-Site Inspections and Conferences:
I will arrange my schedule to ensure that I meet with you and your associates prior to the actual deposition or testimony.

IV. Refunds:
If, after review of initial documents and discussion with you and/or a member of your staff, I determine that I cannot provide you with the level and/or direction of services as an expert witness necessary for your case, I will refund three-fourths (3/4) of the retainer.
